We are now back Stateside after some long but uneventful travel. We arrived home around midnight last night, having been in transit for over 24 hours. The drive home from Chicago was a bit challenging. We talked continuously to avoid falling asleep. A few times Deb would pause mid-sentence and nod off and then realize what was going on. At least she wasn’t driving. My responsibility was keeping the car on the road. Deb’s responsibility was keeping the driver awake. But it’s by the Lord’s protection that we made it home. And for that we are thankful.
I stepped on the scale this morning and saw that I had lost nearly six pounds. After all those big meals. I guess the ongoing intestinal distress is having its own effect. Hopefully that will right itself now that we’re home on a regular schedule.
As always, I like to map our route using GPS tracking information taken during the trip. Turkey shows us going in a circle and Greece shows the travel between Athens and Corinth.
